The Arizona Democratic Party elected new leadership, with State Senator Harry Mitchell taking the helm of the state party. Former chair, and friend of Ohio Democrats, Jon Pederson is a potential candidate for US Senate against Jon Kyl, according to news reports.
The exciting news for Young Dems came as one of our own leaders was elected to serve the Arizona Democratic Party:
David Martinez, president of the University of Arizona Young Democrats, was elected the party’s secretary to serve through 2006. Congrats David!!
