Reference: King County Democrats Endorsement Process
The King County Democrats welcome all Democratic
Candidates filing for public office at all levels of
Government. To be considered for endorsement by the King
County Democrats, you must declare yourself to be a
Democrat and complete the appropriate questionnaire,
attached here for your convenience.
Our endorsement process will include several
candidate forums, facilitated and categorized by
positions.
May 24, 2005, 7:00 pm, we will hold our first
forum for Metropolitan King County Council Candidates
at the Renton Carpenters Hall – 231 Burnett Avenue North
in Renton. These candidates along with the King County
Executive candidates will stand for election at our
Nominating Convention on June 28, 2005, 7:00 pm,
at the Bellevue Community College Gymnasium. Early
endorsements were given to King County Executive Ron
Sims, King County Council Chair Larry Phillips, and King
County Council Member Dow Constantine.
Our endorsement committee will schedule additional
forums for the non-partisan races for city council, port
commission, school boards, and other positions.
The endorsement meeting for the non-partisan races
will be scheduled for early August; all
questionnaires must be submitted by August 1, 2005.

The list of candidates and completed questionnaires
will also be posted at our website for viewing.

Candidates or Campaign Managers should email
completed questionnaires to
suzie2004@comcast.net by August 1, 2005

If a candidate wishes to have their campaign
website linked, it should be in the body of
their email

Questionnaires should be sent as a single
attachment in .doc, .pdf, or .txt format.

Any additional information (resume,
endorsement list, etc.) should be included
at the bottom of the single questionnaire
file

KC Dems will try to post questionnaires
within two business days of receipt

KC Dems reserves the right to not post
submissions
